Killer darts rules explained
Killer (also known as killer darts) is a party game for several players: everyone gets their own number and a few lives. Once you become a killer you can take lives from the others. The last player standing wins.
- From 2 players, best with more
- Only doubles count
- 3 or 5 lives
How to play
- At the start everyone is assigned their own number from 1 to 20.
- Only doubles count. Hitting the double of your own number makes you a killer.
- As a killer you take a life from an opponent by hitting the double of their number. Careful: hit your own double and you lose one yourself.
- Anyone with no lives left is out. The last player standing wins.
Variants
- Lives: 3 (quicker) or 5 lives per player.
Killer example
Anna has the 7. She hits D7 and becomes a killer. Ben has the 14 - if Anna now hits D14, Ben loses a life. If Anna later hits D7 by mistake, she loses one herself.
Killer tips
- Become a killer first - until then you can’t hurt anyone.
- Attack the players who are already killers first - they are the biggest threat.
- As a killer be careful with your own double: stray darts easily hit the wrong number.
